Week 8
I saw snow for the first time on Monday. It was magical.
I attended a seminar held by the Mathematical foundations of computation group. Dr Nicholas Pischke talked about Proof mining and probability theory. I didn’t understand much of it. However, it was fascinating to see the kind of topics mathematicians are interested in. It did make me realise how different computer science and mathematics are. Or at least the parts of computer science that I am familiar with.
The Software Engineering customer meeting was great this week. Maddie gave us a reality check. Our goal this sprint is to make a fully playable game that teaches one thing clearly.
Saw Bath City FC vs Maidstone United with George on Tuesday. It was a great game. Bath drew unfortunately after conceding in extra time! The temperature was freezing.
I went to see Anjunadeep at Motion Bristol with Anson on Saturday. The venue and the sound were amazing. It rained quite a lot so our shoes got wet and remained so till the morning; we stayed till the end at 5am.
